End of season games and party!!!

I can't believe the end of the season is here.

Our game schedule is s follows:

Saturday, May 19th

9:00 am LSA vs Javanon 98 Red

• Girls should be in their black uniforms and on the field at Westport Middle School at 8:15 a.m. You can find directions at: http://www.louisvillesoccer.org/westportmiddle.html
• We will be on the first field you come to when you go behind the school. Per the manager, we will be the only younger team playing.

Sunday, May 20th

1:00 pm Javanon 98 Red vs MUSA Flyers

• Girls should be in their white uniforms and on field # 14 at 12:15. Field 14 is on the lower side at the corner of Edith Avenue and closest to River Rd.

Lori, Maury and Reagan Kommer are hosting our end of year swim party for the girls.

Since State Cup and other things are making it difficult to plan a weekend endeaver, we decided to do a Thursday night from 5:30- 9ish. The availble dates are:

Thursday, May 31st or June 7th. Pease let me know which date works best. Lori wants to grill out and enjoy the evening. I figure we can all pitch in and make it a potluck style event!!!

Bluegrass Invitational Tournament

There's so much info in this e-mail so please take a moment to read and review directions etc.

The schedules are posted. They have us playing our first game at 7:45 a.m. both Saturday AND Sunday. Both days there is a substantial amount of time between games.

Coach suggested we take in a movie on Saturday. I have attached a link for directions to Fayette Mall Cinemark Theater. We can see either SpiderMan 3 or Meet the Robinsons. Both movies start about 11:40.

Saturday schedule is as follows:

7:00 am - Girls on Masterson Station Field # 15 (Black Uniforms)
7:45 am- Athletico Flames vs Javanon Red
9:00- 11:15- Tailgate breakfast/ go to Fayette Mall
11:45-3:00- Movie / lunch
3:45 pm- Girls on Berea Field # 1A (White Uniforms)
4:30 pm- Javanon Red vs NK Storm (from Villa, Ky)


Sunday schedule is as follows:

7:00 am- Girls on Masterson Station Field # 15 (White Uniforms)
7:45 am - Javanon Red vs LFC Blue
9:00-2:00- Lunch and I'm looking for a go-cart/mini golf excursion
2:00 pm- Girls on Masterson Station Field # 15 (Black Uniforms)
2:45 pm - LFC Classic White vs. Javanon Red



There are 2 different fields-- Berea Rd field and Masterson Fields. There are very good maps in pdf format at this site:

There is a theater in Fayette Mall about 15 miles away from the Horse Park (this will give us some other time killing options). Here is the map link:
