Weekend Camp Reminder and Directions

Wednesday's practice was great! The girls are all really bonding as a team.

They seem VERY excited about this action-packed weekend. Below is a recap of the schedule of events as well as directions to Coach Keith's house.

• Friday, Sept.1- Kick Off Party for the girls and parents meeting 7 PM. Keith's oldest Javanon girl, Megan, will lead games and fun for the girls while Keith outlines plans for the season. Eat dinner before you come!!
• Saturday, Sept 2- Day camp from 8:30- 5:30. Ellie's mom, Anne, will be providing lunch for the girls. Thanks Anne!!!
• Sunday, Sept.3- Day camp 12-4. Please let Keith know if there are any conflicts with family activities on this day.

August Laundry List

Hello to all:

There are a few items on the agenda.

• All girls seem fine with waiting on the soccer balls with Javanon screened on the side. We can expect them in October. Thanks for the quick and positive response. I hope the girls aren’t too disappointed.
• Soccer Premier is accepting bags for embroidery. Per Sue Forwith, they will be sending them out on Wednesday of next week and only take about 5-7 business days to complete. Cost is about $10. Soccer Premier does alot for Javanon and we appreciate them.
• Don’t forget about the mini camp coming up Labor Day weekend. Scroll down to see all the details. I will send out directions next week. Ann Crecelius is kind enough to provide lunches for the kids that day. Thanks, Ann!!!
• Friday, August 25th is the deadline for the second round of Fall fees for those of you who split it into 2 payments.
• INDOOR SOCCER: The 98 coaches have decided to sign up for a recreational rather than competitive. All of our girls have expressed interest. Please let me know if you have changed your mind. REMEMBER that Ali will also be doing a winter training one day per week. Details will come later.

Practice Schedule Through August 31

Please note that even though we are not playing games until September we will NOT practice on Saturdays through August.

Our regular practice schedule is:

• Monday- 6-7:30 PM Eva Bandman (with White team)
• Wednesday- 6-7:30 PM Eva Bandman

Labor Day Weekend Kick Off and Mini Camp

Please mark your calendars for the Red Team Labor Day Weekend Kick Off. The itinerary is as follows:

• Friday, Sept.1- Kick Off Party for the girls and parents meeting 7 PM. Keith's oldest Javanon girl, Megan will lead games and fun for the girls while Keith outlines plans for the season.
• Saturday, Sept 2- Day camp from 8:30- 5:30. Although it may seem like a long day, the kids are going to have a great time. They won't be running laps in the hot sun all day!!! He swears they won't want to go home!!! :-) I have been to a Forwith back yard soccer afternoon and it REALLY is fun!!!
• Sunday, Sept.3- Day camp 12-4. Please let me know of there are any conflicts with family activities on this day. Family IS first!!!

It looks like we have nearly everyone in attendance. Your girls won't want to miss this so please remember that we are willing to assist in keeping them in town during this weekend.

I will be sending directions as the event approaches!!!

Gatorade Sponsors Javanon

Javanon is the proud recipient of Gatorade sponsorship. Lynn Wilbar will be providing us with Gatorade squeeze bottles, coolers and drink mix for the season.

We, in turn, must only use the bottles with the Gatorade logo on the sidelines during games.

Please let me know if a parent would be willing to fill and pack the large dispenser jug for the girls this season. We can split up the responsibility so the kids have it for each game.
